Emergency Responses Shape Frederick Area Dispatch Activity

Crews were dispatched to RAMP US-15 southbound near W. PATRICK ST in Frederick at 5:11 p.m. for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A18, Ambulance A37, Advanced Life Support ALS4, Rescue Squad R3, Engine E11, Engine E31 and EMS Supervisor EMS902. At 5:15 p.m., Units in the area, attempting to locate. At 5:17 p.m., Rescue Squad R3 arrived. on the ramp from US-15SB to Rte. 40W; 2 vehicle rear-end collision. Rescue Squad R3 began checking on the occupants.

At 7:36 a.m., crews were called to 3800 block BUCKEYSTOWN PIKE — BUCKEYSTOWN VET CLINIC for a reported gas alarm. Responding units included Paramedic Engine PE311, Tiller Truck TT4, Hazmat HM33, HMSU33 and Battalion Chief BC901. At 7:42 a.m., Paramedic Engine PE311 arrived at a two-story veterinary building and found nothing evident. Paramedic Engine PE311 began investigating. At 7:45 a.m., Frederick ECC advises responding units and those on scene that the proper alarm passcode was received. Units in service.

A reported vehicle accident brought crews to I-70 eastbound near 43MM in Myersville at 2:39 p.m. Responding units included Ambulance A89, Ambulance A129, Rescue Squad R8, Engine E72 and Engine E121. At 2:42 p.m., Rescue Squad R8 arrived. 2 vehicles on the right shoulder. Rescue Squad R8 began checking on the occupants. At 2:43 p.m., reports collision is property damage only. No fire department services needed. Units in service.

Crews were dispatched to MONOCACY BLVD near FREDERICK HEALTH WAY at 4:11 p.m. for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A299, Advanced Life Support ALS29, Rescue Squad R24, Engine E291 and EMS Supervisor EMS902. At 4:14 p.m., Ambulance A299 arrived. single vehicle, single occupant is out. At 4:30 p.m., transporting Priority 2 patient, classified as serious but stable, classified as serious but stable to FHH.

At 10:00 a.m., crews were called to 5700 block URBANA PIKE — ROASTHOUSE PUB for a reported gas odor inside. Responding units included Engine E31, Paramedic Engine PE311 and Rescue Squad R3. At 10:04 a.m., Engine E31 arrived. normal conditions. Engine E31 began investigating. At 10:09 a.m., Engine E31 made contact with owners who located a leak at the stove. Stove has been turned off. E31 reports negative meter readings. Performing ventilation.

A reported light smoke conditions brought crews to 3500 block LEW WALLACE ST in Urbana at 10:52 a.m. Responding units included Engine E231, Paramedic Engine PE251 and Truck T23. At 10:57 a.m., completed 360-assessment, no hazards present. Alarm no longer active, power is back on after power surge. At 10:59 a.m., confirms accidental alarm due to power surge. Units in service.

Crews were dispatched to LYNN BURKE RD near PINE TREE CT in Monrovia at 6:10 p.m. for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A259 and Paramedic Engine PE251. At 6:14 p.m., Paramedic Engine PE251 arrived. on Lynne Burke Rd, vehicle in the front yard, occupant is out and on the ground. At 6:22 p.m., A259, Paramedic from E251 evaluating one patient. FCSO attempting to locate second occupant of the vehicle.
