S. Jefferson Street Gas Odor, Multiple Roadway Incidents
Crews were dispatched to 100 block N. PENDLETON CT in Frederick Heights at 8:50 p.m. for a reported building fire. Responding units included Engine E11, Paramedic Engine PE23, Engine E501, Paramedic Engine PE311, Engine E121, Rescue Squad R3, Tower TW1, Ambulance A18, Advanced Life Support ALS4, C1, Battalion Chief BC903, Battalion Chief BC902 and SAF901. At 8:55 p.m., Engine E11 arrived at a two-story middle of the row townhouse and found nothing evident. Engine E11 began investigating. BC903 on scene, establishing command. E11 unable to complete 360-assessment due to fence. At 8:56 p.m., reports a small fire on the deck.
At 10:31 a.m., crews were called to I-270 southbound near SCENIC OVERLOOK for a reported motorcycle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A319, Ambulance A239, Advanced Life Support ALS23, Rescue Squad R3, Engine E231, Paramedic Engine PE311, EMS Supervisor EMS902 and Battalion Chief BC901. At 10:33 a.m., dispatchers advised responding crews that MSP are on scene, reporting patient is conscious. At 10:37 a.m., Ambulance A239 arrived. rider upright and walking.
A reported gas odor inside brought crews to 100 block S. JEFFERSON ST in Frederick at 9:36 p.m. Responding units included Engine E31, Paramedic Engine PE23 and Tiller Truck TT4. At 9:38 p.m., Tiller Truck TT4 arrived. 2-story end of the row townhouse. Normal conditions. Tiller Truck TT4 began investigating. At 9:49 p.m., metered initial dwelling, found 220 PPM on the meter. TT4 located an adjacent structure that appears to be the origin of the leak. E31 establishing command. Engine E31 requested FPD, E31 will need to force entry to the structure where leak is occurring.
Crews were dispatched to US-15 southbound near W. SEVENTH ST in Frederick at 8:40 p.m. for a reported vehicle accident triggered by an automatic crash notification. Responding units included Ambulance A18, Ambulance A29, Rescue Squad R3, Engine E501 and Engine E11. At 8:43 p.m., checked the area in both directions. Nothing found. Units in service.
At 3:40 a.m., crews were called to 1500 block W. PATRICK ST — SEVEN ELEVEN for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A129 and Engine E121. At 3:46 a.m., A129, E121 on scene with a vehicle in the center median. Checking on occupants. At 3:49 a.m., Ambulance A129 began evaluating one patient.
A reported commercial fire alarm brought crews to 16800 block S. SETON AVE — NATIONAL FIRE ACADEMY in Emmitsburg at 6:08 a.m. Responding units included Engine E61 and Tower TW6. At 6:15 a.m., Engine E61 arrived at a 3-story commercial building and found nothing evident. Engine E61 began investigating. At 6:17 a.m., investigated the room of the alarm origination. No hazards present.
Crews were dispatched to 300 block FURGESON LN at 7:26 a.m. for a reported gas odor inside. Responding units included Engine E501, Engine E121 and Truck T50. At 7:34 a.m., Engine E501 arrived. 2-story middle of the row townhouse. Gas company on scene. At 7:35 a.m., reports gas company already on location, confirming no fire department services needed. Units clearing.
At 2:35 p.m., crews were called to 3700 block BUCKEYSTOWN PIKE for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A319, Ambulance A148 and Engine E141. At 2:39 p.m., Engine E141 arrived to find two vehicles involved. Engine E141 began checking on the occupants. At 2:44 p.m., transporting Priority 3 patient, classified as non-life-threatening, classified as non-life-threatening to the hospital.
