I-270 Rollover, W. Greenleaf Drive Gas Odor and Multiple Roadway Incidents
Crews were dispatched to I-270 northbound near 29MM in Scenic Overlook at 7:15 a.m. for a reported vehicle accident — rollover. Responding units included Ambulance A239, Ambulance A37, Advanced Life Support ALS23, Rescue Squad R3, Engine E231, Paramedic Engine PE311, Battalion Chief BC901, EMS Supervisor EMS901 and Tiller Truck TT23. At 7:20 a.m., Ambulance A239 arrived to find a single vehicle on the shoulder with the occupant still inside. At 7:21 a.m., Engine E231 arrived just north of the scenic overlook.
At 7:35 a.m., crews were called to live at FrederickScanner.com for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A229, Ambulance A38, Rescue Squad R24, Rescue Squad R3, Engine E111, Paramedic Engine PE23, Engine E221 and Engine E11. At 7:42 a.m., Ambulance A229 arrived to find a vehicle off the roadway and in the woods. The occupants were outside. At 7:43 a.m., one patient was reported for evaluation. A229 and PE23 remained on the call. Other units were in service.
A reported pedestrian struck brought crews to Route 40 near OLD CAMP RD at 8:25 p.m. Responding units included Ambulance A129, Advanced Life Support ALS4, Engine E121, C3-C and EMS Supervisor EMS902. At 8:28 p.m., dispatchers advised responding crews that FPD was on scene and CPR was in progress. At 8:29 p.m., C3-C arrived. C3-C confirmed that CPR was in progress.
Crews were dispatched to US-15 southbound near AUBURN RD in Catoctin Furnace at 3:52 p.m. for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A307, Ambulance A229, Rescue Squad R10, Engine E61, Engine E291 and Engine E221. At 3:57 p.m., Ambulance A307 arrived to find a single vehicle involved. Ambulance A307 began checking on the occupants. At 3:59 p.m., a single vehicle was reported, with A307 evaluating a single occupant. R10 was holding A307 and R10. Other responding units were in service.
At 6:01 p.m., crews were called to the 300 block of AVIATION WAY — FREDERICK AIRPORT TERMINAL in Frederick Regional Airport for a reported alert 1 — minor difficulty. Responding units included Engine E31, Paramedic Engine PE23, Rescue Squad R3, Ambulance A38, Ambulance A339, Advanced Life Support ALS2, Battalion Chief BC902, SAF900 and EMS Supervisor EMS902.
A reported commercial fire alarm brought crews to the 5900 block of QUINN ORCHARD RD — COUNTRY MEADOWS OF FREDERICK at 1:17 p.m. Responding units included Engine E331 and Tiller Truck TT4. At 1:22 p.m., Engine E331 arrived at the 2-story assisted living facility. Conditions were normal, and the building was not evacuated. At 1:25 p.m., crews were investigating an activated detector on the second floor.
Crews were dispatched to E. SOUTH ST near MONOCACY BLVD in Frederick at 7:15 p.m. for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A38 and Rescue Squad R3. At 7:18 p.m., Rescue Squad R3 arrived to find a single vehicle involved and began checking on the occupant. At 7:20 p.m., Ambulance A38 began evaluating one patient.
At 7:37 p.m., crews were called to BOYERS MILL RD near YEAGERTOWN RD for a reported vehicle accident. Responding units included Ambulance A158 and Rescue Squad R15. At 7:43 p.m., Rescue Squad R15 arrived to find 2 vehicles involved. Rescue Squad R15 began checking on the occupants. At 7:57 p.m., one patient was evaluated and refused transport. Units were in service.
