US-15 Rollover, Multiple Roadway Incidents
Crews were dispatched to I-70 eastbound near MT. TABOR RD in Myersville at 4:26 p.m. for a reported vehicle accident - entrapment. Responding units included Ambulance 78, WCM751, Advanced Life Support 4, Engine 82, Engine 72, Rescue Engine 74, C7, EMSBC900 and EMS Supervisor 901. At 4:26 p.m., still enroute, requesting MedEvac due to nature of call. At 4:31 p.m., EMSBC900 arrived to find two vehicles involved. EMSBC900 established command.
At 8:38 a.m., crews were called to 7800 block WORMANS MILL RD — MARSHALLS in Clemson Corner for a reported building fire. Responding units included Paramedic Engine 23, Engine 111, Engine 162, Engine 291, Engine 501, Engine 31, Rescue Squad 24, Tower 11, Truck 50, Ambulance 299, Advanced Life Support 2, Battalion Chief 902, Battalion Chief 901 and SAF901. At 8:41 a.m., Paramedic Engine 23 arrived. single-story commercial strip. Paramedic Engine 23 found nothing evident. Building evacuated. PE23 establishing command. At 8:42 a.m., Battalion Chief 902 arrived and assumed command.
A reported vehicle accident - rollover brought crews to US-15 southbound near AUBURN RD in Catoctin Furnace at 7:40 p.m. Responding units included Ambulance 229, Ambulance 299, Advanced Life Support 30, Paramedic Engine 102, Engine 291, Rescue Squad 10, Engine 221, Hazmat 33, HMSU33, Battalion Chief 902 and EMS Supervisor 902. At 7:41 p.m., dispatchers advised responding crews that fire-Police on scene called-in; reporting a tractor trailer hauling sugar on its side, leaking fuel from saddle tanks. At 7:47 p.m., Rescue Squad 10 arrived. Rescue Squad 10 confirmed that tractor trailer on its side on the shoulder. R10 establishing command.
Crews were dispatched to 7300 block HOLTER RD — REMSBURG PARK in Middletown at 6:49 p.m. for a reported small aircraft accident. Responding units included Engine 72, Engine 121, Rescue Squad 20, EMSUTV31, Ambulance 78, Ambulance 129, Advanced Life Support 20, Brush 75, Brush 205, Battalion Chief 903, SAF901, EMS Supervisor 900 and OPSDC900. At 6:51 p.m., Frederick ECC advises single caller reported a paraglider falling rapidly. OPSDC900, LCBC612 in the area, investigating. At 6:52 p.m., reports paraglider is airborne.
At 2:44 p.m., crews were called to 2400 block OLD NATIONAL PIK in Middletown for a reported shooting. Responding units included Ambulance 78, Advanced Life Support 8, Rescue Engine 74, CAR7, Battalion Chief 903 and EMS Supervisor 902. At 2:45 p.m., dispatchers advised responding crews that call may be originating from a subject with mental conditions; unable to ascertain the veracity of the information. At 2:48 p.m., Responding units staging away from the scene until MSP secure scene / provide all-clear.

A reported gas alarm brought crews to 3800 block BUCKEYSTOWN PIKE — BUCKEYSTOWN VET CLINIC at 7:41 a.m. Responding units included Paramedic Engine 311, Tiller Truck 4, Hazmat 33 and Battalion Chief 901. At 7:44 a.m., dispatchers advised responding crews that the alarm company made contact with building representative who reports a false alarm. Units continuing in to the scene to verify. At 7:47 a.m., Paramedic Engine 311 arrived. 2-story Vet clinic. Normal conditions. Paramedic Engine 311 began investigating.
Crews were dispatched to 9000 block OLD HAGERSTOWN RD in Myersville at 6:47 p.m. for a reported motorcycle accident. Responding units included Ambulance 89, Advanced Life Support 8, Engine 82, Rescue Engine 74 and EMS Supervisor 901. At 6:49 p.m., Ambulance 89 arrived. one down in the roadway. At 6:56 p.m., Ambulance 89 began evaluating patient; continuing to hold A89, ALS8, E82. Other units in service.
