Police Race and Ethnicity Codes:

  • Number 1: Black or African-American
  • Number 2: White or Caucasian
  • Number 3: Hispanic or Latino
  • Number 4: Asian
  • Number 5: Native American or Indigenous
  • Number 6: Middle Eastern
  • Number 7: Pacific Islander

The 10 Codes:

  • 10-0 = Caution
  • 10-1 = Unable to copy – change location
  • 10-3 = Stop transmitting
